Join Prosecco DOC’s Neil Phillips, The Wine Tipster, and delve into Prosecco. Learn about the history, the regions of Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia, and the terroir and winemaking techniques.

Taste and discover the wines of the Prosecco DOC producers, whilst learning why Prosecco pairs so well with a range of flavours and dishes.

Prosecco DOC is produced in 9 areas across the two regions, spanning about 20,000 hectares of relatively flat land. 

DOC is a wine classification that exists throughout Italy and apply to all kinds of wine produced in the country from red wines like Chianti to whites like Pinot Grigio to our favourite sparkling wine, Prosecco. The main purpose is to highlight wines of a superior quality and DOC wines also have to comply with strict standards.
