The story of Scotland’s most handmade whisky, Our story spans centuries of whisky history and five generations of one family; the Mitchells. Founded in 1897, the Tomatin whisky distillery sits at an altitude of 313m just to the west of the village of the same name and quenches its annual five million litre capacity with the pure waters of the Allt-na-Frithe. Experience the softer side of the Highlands with our award-winning range of light, soft and fruity malts.
They say where you’re from says a lot about who you are. And most Single Malts are from the middle of nowhere. Us? We’re different.
We were forged in the fires of The Industrial Revolution and the Glaswegian sweat of our forefathers. We’ve taken the sweat out now. But boy do we still have the spirit. We’re part of the city. And the city is part of us. We play hard. And we work even harder.
We’re not triple distilled because it’s tradition. But because that’s what it takes to create a delicate flavour unlike any other. Smooth, yet gutsy. Approachable yet deep. Open to newcomers and old friends alike. Just like where we’re from.
The Kilchoman distillery was founded in 2005 at the Rochside Farm, not far from Machir Bay at Islay’s West Coast. Kilchoman is Scotland’s most Westerly whisky distillery and draws its water from a spring on Cnoc Dubh, just above Rochside Farm. The resultant single malt Scotch whisky will not undergo chill-filtration nor will spirit caramel be added, the standard strength will be at 50% abv, reduced with Islay water.
Arran Single Malt Whisky A dynamic new force in the Scotch whisky industry, Isle of Arran Distillers is one of the few remaining independent distilleries in Scotland. They are based at Lochranza on the Isle of Arran, one of the most beautiful and famous in Scotland which lies off the west coast between Ayrshire and Kintyre.
Multi-award winning Glenfarclas Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky has been distilled on Speyside for six generations by one family – the Grants. The Glenfarclas Distillery was legally established in 1836, on the Recherlich Farm at Ballindalloch, in the heart of Speyside. Glenfarclas Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky continues to impress the tasting panels at both national and international competitions, year after year. Confirming the words of a great rival distiller in 1912, “of all the whiskies malt is king – of all the kings Glenfarclas reigns supreme.”
