Anything but the cow: Goat and Sheep cheeses

Think all goat’s cheeses are pongy like… goat?

This masterclass will change your mind forever, taste goat and sheep cheddars, sheep’s blue cheese and other unusual varieties. The cheeses will be paired with matching wine and sure to change your cheese buying selections for ever.

Goat cheese is typically a soft or semi-soft cheese made from goat’s milk that has a tangy taste and smooth texture. Benefits of goat cheese include that it provides calcium, healthy fats, probiotics, phosphorus, copper, protein, B vitamins and iron.

Sheep’s milk cheese can make a big difference to your diet. As well as being smoother and richer than cow’s milk products, sheep’s milk provides more nutrition. The vitamins in sheep’s milk, mainly the B complex as well as A, D and E are all essential to good health. Not only is it rich in vitamins, calcium and zinc, it’s also suitable for lactose intolerant diets.
