Jackson Estate was founded more than 25 years ago, after the first vines were planted on our estate in Marlborough, New Zealand by the Stichbury family, who have farmed the land on Jackson’s Road for over 160 years.
The success of Jackson Estate is founded on the variety of soils, mature, low yielding and cool climate vineyards. Marlborough’s high sunshine hours along with its long dry growing season gives even ripening and superb fruit concentration, allowing intense aromas and flavours to develop. Cool nights help retain freshness and acidity, giving the wines the potential to age beautifully. All our fruit is Estate grown which allows for complete control and enables high quality grapes to be further enhanced by Matt Patterson-Green’s minimal intervention, winemaking style.
Our Philosophy is to sustainably handcraft wines of elegance, finesse and longevity, which express the individual varietal characters and unique flavours of our Marlborough Vineyards and vintages.
