Food is at the heart of what we do. We pride ourselves on using the best fresh ingredients and combining them with minimal fuss and interference, allowing the natural flavours to shine.
Making full use of the array of small producers that the Cotswolds and its surroundings has to offer, people who are as passionate about their food as we are about ours. In addition to our suppliers, we grow much of our own produce in a vegetable patch and fruit cage in our pub garden, and at our allotment in the neighbouring village. We also make use of the few seasonal delicacies that can be found in the surrounding countryside, including wild garlic, walnuts, blackberries and field mushrooms.
